About CPTSD Warrior Healing Society
CPTSD Warrior Healing Society is an Indigenous-founded, survivor-led nonprofit in Lax Kxeen (Prince Rupert), British Columbia, Canada created to provide free, trauma-informed education, resources, and support for people impacted by complex trauma.
Our work is somatic, culturally grounded, and rooted in the belief that people deserve access to healing resources that honour their lived experience, nervous system, body, culture, and capacity.
This is the official website of CPTSD Warrior Healing Society.
Our Mission
Our mission is to increase access to trauma-informed, culturally grounded education and resources by supporting survivors of CPTSD and complex trauma, as well as the professionals, families, and communities who support them.
Through advocacy, free resources, community collaboration, and survivor-led education, CPTSD Warrior Healing Society works with particular care for Indigenous individuals and communities whose healing has been shaped by intergenerational and colonial trauma.
Our Approach
CPTSD Warrior Healing Society focuses on education, resources, and community-based support. Our approach is grounded in trauma-informed practice, somatic awareness, nervous system education, survivor wisdom, and culturally respectful learning.
We believe healing is supported by safety, connection, choice, education, body awareness, cultural respect, and access to resources that help people understand their trauma responses with less shame and more compassion.
Who We Serve
CPTSD Warrior Healing Society serves people impacted by complex trauma, including CPTSD survivors, survivors of childhood trauma, indigenous survivors, families, and communities.
We also create resources for the people who support survivors, including therapists, counsellors, social workers, coaches, educators, frontline workers, peer supporters, and community helpers who want to better understand trauma-informed care.
Important Note
CPTSD Warrior Healing Society does not provide crisis services, medical care, or clinical therapy. Our work focuses on education, resources, awareness, and trauma-informed support.
